AGTU WORKING PAPERS is a student research platform that promotes academic investigation through the publication of papers, projects, reviews, dissertations, and other manuscripts produced by students alongside their professors and mentors.        To serve as a scientific production channel dedicated to mentored student publications.

       To establish a sustainable and accessible editorial platform, promoting the free dissemination of knowledge.

       To achieve indexing in databases that guarantee the visibility and credibility of the published research.

       To enhance the visibility and recognition of AGTU in the global academic landscape through undergraduate and graduate research.

AGTU WORKING PAPERS is published semi-annually.

 

Peer Review Process

AGTU WORKING PAPERS employs a rigorous peer-review process to ensure the quality of all publications. The workflow consists of:

       Desk Review: The editorial team conducts an initial screening for scope alignment, formatting, and ethical standards.

       Peer Review: Manuscripts approved in the initial screening are sent to at least two expert reviewers in the field. The review policy (double-blind or single-blind) is defined by the curation board.

       Editorial Decision: Based on the reviewers' feedback, the coordination team makes the final decision regarding publication.

 

Open Access Policy

This is an Open Access initiative, meaning all content is available free of charge, with no cost to the user or their institution. Readers are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without prior permission from the publisher or the author, in accordance with the adopted Creative Commons license.

 

Copyright and Licensing Statement

Authors publishing on this platform retain the copyright to their work. They grant AGTU WORKING PAPERS the right of first publication, with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). This license allows others to share and adapt the work for any purpose, even commercially, provided that appropriate credit is given to the author and the original publication.

 

Research Ethics and Best Practices

The administration upholds the highest standards of academic integrity. A strict policy against plagiarism, data fabrication, and other ethical violations is enforced. All textual submissions must pass through the anti-plagiarism software provided by AGTU. The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to generate complete works is prohibited, and authors remain fully responsible for the content of their manuscripts, being required to declare the use of any AI tools during the process.

 

Submission and Publication Fees

AGTU WORKING PAPERS operates under the Diamond Open Access model. There are no fees charged to authors for submission, processing, or article publication (APCs).

 

Archiving and Digital Preservation

To ensure long-term access to the content, digital preservation systems are utilized. The use of services such as CLOCKSS, LOCKSS, or the PKP Preservation Network is considered to secure the archiving and integrity of the academic record.

 

History

Founded in 2025 as an initiative of American Global Tech University, AGTU WORKING PAPERS was established to create a space dedicated to student scientific production, strengthening the culture of research and academic inquiry within the institution.
